Choosing Software

I have the hardest time choosing software to use with my computer. I always end up spending forever researching the options, and then still have trouble deciding amongst them. Now I am in the usual state of indecision over a new purchase, because I really need to get some software to help backup my PC. There are so many different types of software you can use to do backups on your PC, all of them with their pros and cons. So far I am leaning towards Roxio Backup MyPC, but who knows, I might change my mind before I actually get around to buying it.
