It is sometimes not wise to give your teens a lot of cash. They may lose it or other teens may steal it from them. Teens credit crads can be a good idea. Then your teen will have access to the funds that he or she needs. But, teen credit cards can also create a problem. You have to set limits so your child does not max out the card on frivilous items. You have to be sure that yur teen will be responsible with the card. Afterall, credit cards can also be lost or stolen. It is often best to give your teen a prepaid credit card. Then they will not overspend, and if lost or stolen, you are not out a huge amount of money.
