How To Train My Dog With A Lleash

The leash should be a symbol for a dog. Just seeing it should tell the dog how he is expected to behave. Getting a dog to understand that concept will be a very important step in his training. One valuable tip is to keep a leash on the dog at all times when you take him outdoors during the training process. This not only ensures that you are the one in control, it reminds the dog that you are. He needs to understand that being outside means he must walk quietly beside you, without you having to tug on the leash. He won’t learn this immediately, but he if you are consistent enough he will eventually get the idea. Practice this with him long enough and you might eventually be able to eliminate the need for a collar. This is what I did when I learned how to train my dog.
