1. Make it fun - try other sports to mix things up a bit. Choose activities that you enjoy, maybe a game of tennis or cross training to add variety. Or on a calmer side, you may try to listen to music that helps your mind to relax. Best yet, get a friend or two to workout with to stay focused.
2. Set achievable goals - make increase in fitness in small steps. If you are not sure how to do this realistically, consider seeing a trainer. Avoid over doing things.
