Car hits woman as she leaves church services

An 84 year old female pedestrian suffered severe injuries when she was hit by a car. The accident occurred as the female pedestrian was heading over to her husband’s parked car after finishing up with her church services. The force of the impact forced her over the hood of the car. Her injuries include fractures to her clavicle and scapula, fractures to several ribs, multiple fractures in her left leg, and a right AC joint separation. Her medical bills for the treatment of her injuries amounted to approximately $75,000. The law firm that handled this motor vehicle accident on her behalf reported an award of $575,000.
