If you are thinking of going this route, make sure that you know exactly what the discount is, where you saw it and who you spoke to to inquire about it (if applicable). Sometimes, advertisements that we see on television are misleading on purpose because a car rental company is hoping that you won’t catch it but will still come down to the rental office anyway. If you see an ad on TV and want to know more about it, simply call the phone number that’s provided (there’s almost always a phone number) and ask to speak to a representative about the ad you saw. Make sure you get their name and position with the company, this way when you go to rent the car, if there are any problems with the car rental discount, you will be able to provide the name and information for who you spoke to. This will make it more difficult for the car rental company to refute your rental since it will hold them liable for any misinformation.
