Iowa tourism moving to Nebraska

February 28th, 2008 by admin

Western Iowa tourism has been dropping lately and there is a group formed to find out why. The group will look at all the attractions in the are as well as how much advertising money is spent and how effective that advertising is. It is expected that those things haven’t changed and it is suspected that eastern Nebraska has increased their advertising in the area enough that it is drawing tourist away from Iowa. Although geographically the only thing that separates the two states is the Missouri river, there is much wider separation of ideas and ideals. The two states have been rivals since the beginning of time.
