    Funny Love Poems is All I Get

    Romantic gestures come easy to some men. With others, it will never happen. Unfortunately, I married a man who falls into the latter category. We met at the tender age of nine, when I moved into the house across the street from him. Our parents became best friends so we did everything together. Neither of us ever imagined marrying anybody else. So, possibly that is where I made my mistake. We were too familiar with each other. He didn’t feel the need to woo me with Shakespearean lyrics. Even now, I get funny-love-poems on my birthdays and anniversaries. Really, if he ever got serious, I’d think something was wrong with our relationship.
